2018 NC HIMSS Annual Conference

May 3-4, 2018
Charlotte, NC
Crowne Plaza Executive Park Hotel

Not all secure communications solutions have been built to meet the demands of tomorrow's hospitals. While HIPAA-compliant secure text messaging will always be important, the future of healthcare communication requires tools for clinical collaboration and workflow, eliminating technology silos and driving better performance and interoperability in healthcare.

Visit us at NC HIMSS to learn why KLAS Research rated us the #1 Category Leader for Secure Communications in their 2018 Best in KLAS report and why Telmediq was named a Representative Provider of Care Team Collaboration by Gartner Research.

Develop a 5-Year Communication Roadmap

Today's hospitals are looking to support the efficiency of clinicians and to improve care delivery and effectiveness by developing a vision and strategy for IT that recognizes the importance of an interconnected IT ecosystem. We'll be heading to the 2018 NC HIMSS Annual Conference on May 3rd and 4th to meet with hospitals and acute care facilities looking to develop their own 5-year roadmap. At our booth, we'll help you assess:

  • What are your current IT challenges (reimbursement, costs, competition, security)?
  • Does your current solution prepare your hospital(s) for the next 5 years?
  • How many physicians and nurses are using what you've implemented?
  • Is your current solution truly "secure"? (Read our CMS article)

Education Session: Driving User Adoption for a Healthcare Communication Platform

Dr. Perkins knew that the best selected technology is only valuable when users adopt it. As a Physician Informaticist, he evaluated solutions that not only met basic compliance needs but that solved other critical communication gaps around interoperability, availability, and user experience. In order to shift users away from non-secure text messaging, the new communication platform had to make work easier and faster for both physicians and nurses. In this session you will learn the latest research in informatics for selecting & implementing new technology in healthcare, important factors for increasing user adoption, and valuable metrics to consider when assessing a technology’s success.
